25-DEC-2018: Merry Christmas
One of the carols that seem to get increasingly popular over the years is 'Mary, Did You Know?', partial lyrics of which are given below:
"Mary did you know that your baby boy would one day walk on water?
Mary did you know that your baby boy would save our sons and daughters?
Did you know that your baby boy has come to make you new?
This child that you've delivered, will soon deliver you"
'Mary, Did You Know?' (written, in 1984, by Mark Lowry; composed, in 1991, by Buddy Greene; lyrics © Warner/Chappell Music, Inc, Capitol Christian Music Group).
The song is a series of questions to Mary about her baby boy, ranging from if she knew about the miracles he would perform in the years to come to if she knew that he was the Lord himself. The composition of the song is beautiful and lyrics make us want to step in and answer the questions for Mary. But did she know? Of course she did:
"And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour with God. And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name Jesus. He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David: And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end."
Luke 1:30-33, The Holy Bible - King James Version.
But, this song raises another important question: 'Do we know about all his teachings, all the miracles he performed, and everything about his selfless life that he sacrificed to redeem us?' Well, what better time than Christmas would it be to rekindle our passion for our Lord Jesus Christ. A Very Merry Christmas to everyone. Rejoice the King is born!

16-JAN-2016: Cathedral Ceiling at
our Ancestral Home /
(Velloor, Kerala, India)
Our centuries-old ancestral home (home of our founder Mr. Thomas) features a teak wood cathedral celing. As the name indicates, this type of ceiling is commonly found in cathedrals. It is characterized by its steep sloping sides that meet at a ridge in the middle. Interestingly, cathedral ceilings are making their way back into comtemporary architecture due to their increased spaciousness - some things just stand the test of time, like our ancestral home. Enjoy!

our Ancestral Home /
(Velloor, Kerala, India)
Like most houses of its era, the interior of our centuries-old ancestral home (home of our founder Mr. Thomas) is mostly made of wood - wood panels, wood doors, wood windows, etc. But, there is something very unique about its windows - unlike most wood windows that open/close with wood/metal hinges, the wood windows at our ancestral home 'slide' in/out! Yes, 'sliding' windows made of wood - can you believe that? Enjoy!

Great Lent starts every year on Clean Monday and ends on the Fortieth Friday (the Friday before Holy Friday). The forty days of fasting during the Great Lent cleanses and prepares the faithful to enter into the Passion and Resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ (commemorated during the Holy Week that follows the Great Lent).
"O Lord! May our fasting and prayers become fragrance, acceptable
before You,
as sweet smelling incense. Holy Lent is the symbol of victory and a weapon
undefeatable before the enemy. O Lord! May our prayers be pleasing to You. May
our requests enter before You as sweet smelling incense. O Lord! We call upon
Thee, come for our help, hear our prayer and have mercy upon our souls. O Lord
Jesus Christ!, who received the fasting of the righteous and the saintly, accept
our fasting and prayers and have mercy upon us. Amen."

25-DEC-2012: Merry Christmas
Wish you all a Very Merry Christmas!
"Silent night! Holy night!
All is calm, all is bright,
Round yon virgin mother and child,
Holy infant so tender and mild,
Sleep in heavenly peace,
Sleep in heavenly peace.
Silent night! Holy night!
Shepherds quake at the sight,
Glories stream from heaven afar,
Heavenly hosts sing alleluia,
Christ the Savior is born,
Christ the Savior is born.
Silent night! Holy night!
Son of God, love's pure light,
Radiant beams from thy holy face,
With the dawn of redeeming grace,
Jesus, Lord, at thy birth,
Jesus, Lord, at thy birth."
Modern translation of 'Stille Nacht! Heilige Nacht!'
(written, in 1816, by Rev.
Joseph Mohr of Austria; composed, in
1818, by Franz Xaver Gruber of Austria).
